Free Healthy Recipe - Grilled Romaine, and Parmesan
Gluten free, Low carbohydrate, Low fat, Low GI, Low sugar, Wheat Free
This is a simple but rather impressive side dish. Serve it with grilled salmon and knock the socks off your guests.
Heat a grill pan to hot
Trim the Romaine lettuce of any leaves that are loose and wilted.
Slice each lettuce lengthways and drizzle with the olive oil, salt and pepper.
Place the cut side of the Romaine onto the grill for 1 - 2 minutes.
Remove from the grill and place on a platter.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and Parmesan
Makes 4 servings
